Motivation: Get It And Stay With It

As Marvin Phillips had said, “The difference between try and triumph is just a little umph!”

Women have a very close relationship with their mirrors as they would often check their selves out and look for flaws in their bodies. They would turn around and look at their thighs and butt; sometimes they would jump or wiggle their bodies, or see if they have fats in some parts of their bodies that ripple like water. If they proceed to getting dressed without the depressing look of defeat, they have passed the test.

So, what happens if they see themselves as fat and out of shape? Of course, they would feel bad about it but, on the other hand, they are motivated again to exercise and eat healthily. Sometimes, you won’t know when to move unless you are hit by an undeniable realization.

So, should we always have to wait for that big rock to slam on our heads before doing something? Well, that’s the funny thing about motivation; you won’t have it if you don’t need it. However, it shouldn’t be that way since motivation – believe it or not – is a conscious decision. I hate to believe that we have no power over our decision to motivate ourselves.

We have a responsibility (the ability to respond). Being motivated and staying that way is a responsibility. Women should start becoming proactive and just reactive to the bad realization of getting fat. If you just wait around for layers of fat to accumulate on your belly before getting something done, then you are being reactive. Being proactive, on the other hand, means sticking to a fitness program – such as fitness exercises and fat burning diets — even when you don’t seem to need to it.

With that being said, women should be proactive and train their minds to get motivated even when they apparently don’t need it. Responding proactively is doing the right thing without reaching the point of getting disappointed and depressed.

If a woman can do this, she will have unwavering motivation to stick to her diet and training routines. Not reaching the point of feeling bad caused by unwanted weight gain is one of its benefits. With this, women will pass their self-inspection every time for the rest of their active lives! The quickest way to lose weight is knowing that you do not actually need to lose weight.

Ultimately, your drive and motivation will become a habit itself. Once a habit is formed, it is extremely tough to break. Only drastic measures can eliminate a rock solid habit. Train your mind while training your body to shed fat and build muscle. The next step is to make that proactive attitude into a habit. Accomplish that by doing the act regularly.Habit is the effect of constant motivation. In the end, motivation is not an issue anymore.

Women, remember that when you are trying to lose weight, do not wait for a negative stimulus to get moving. But rather, put some “UMPH” into it, where “umph” stands for Unwavering Motivation thru Proactive Habit.

So, next time, do not try. Just triumph!
